I am a sociologist and PostDoc at GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences. I work on georeferenced (survey) data, tackling the emerging field of GIS in the social sciences from different angles: use, data management, and, most importantly, application in social research. To this end, I apply analytical skills from diverse and foreign disciplines, such as ecology and engineering, for substantial research in social inequality, ethnic discrimination, or environmental and urban sociology.
